About Me
I am a composer whose passion for storytelling is at the heart of my music. Born in Norfolk, my journey into the world of music began at an early age. Showing a keen interest in anything musical, I quickly advanced through the ranks of musical education, ultimately graduating with a Bachelors and Masters in music from the University of Nottingham. My formative years were marked by the mentorship of esteemed composer Elizabeth Kelly and Professor Mervyn Cooke.
I have composed for an array of genres including film, game, television, chamber music, jazz, choir and orchestra. Notable works include ‘Forces of a Nebula’, which was showcased at the University of Nottingham by the Villiers Quartet and ‘Hercules - The Path to Immortality’, written for the Norwich Concert Band. My distinctive style blends bold melodies with intricate harmonies and innovative extended techniques. I often explores themes of emotion, identity, and the natural world, seeking to connect deeply with the audience and provoke thoughtful reflection.
One of my recent works, ‘Almost’ has been successful in a call to scores and will be performed by the London Contemporary Chamber Orchestra in July 2026.
